Timing and exclusions are merchant-controlled.

Find the next opportunity

Start with customer behaviour, not a discount.

Separate new buyers, repeat customers and valuable customers drifting away. Recency, frequency and spend describe different situations; the same message rarely fits all three.

  • Second-order journeys help first-time buyers discover the next useful product.
  • Replenishment uses product and repeat-purchase timing when the data supports it.
  • Win-back starts with the customer’s buying cycle, rather than a universal 30-day rule.
  • VIP follow-ups recognise value without automatically offering a bigger discount.

Timing that fits the store

A coffee refill and a new sofa have different clocks.

Look at the distribution of time between qualifying orders, then split by product or customer group where the sample is large enough. Treat sparse history as uncertain, rather than pretending there is an exact answer.

  • Exclude cancelled or fully refunded orders from repeat-purchase analysis.
  • Recheck new orders, opt-outs and exclusions before each reminder.
  • Avoid overlapping journeys and pause promotional reminders around unresolved care issues.
  • Let the merchant change timing, frequency, offers, approval rules and spending limits.

Measure the contribution

More revenue is useful when you keep enough of it.

Growth adds 60 000 outbound emails, 50 complete drafts, unlimited flows, customer-value segments, purchase-timing insights and a monthly retention opportunity scan. Its 250 AI resolutions and incoming allowance are the same totals as Care.

  • Moving from Care to Growth costs 50 €/month more.
  • At 60 € order value and 40% contribution, 3 extra orders cover that 50 € increase.
  • The full 199 € plan needs 9 such orders. Add channel usage and services when used.
  • Compare cohorts and use a holdout where traffic supports it. Attributed orders are not guaranteed additional orders.
