Email & SMS / Practical guide
Your first-send checklist
A large imported audience is not a reason to send immediately. Check the sender, permission and message together so the first campaign is useful to the people receiving it.
1. Verify the sender
Complete the domain authentication steps shown during setup. Check the sending identity, reply destination and a real test message. Use a monitored address for replies and agree the treatment of incoming messages.
2. Keep permission and suppression intact
Preserve consent source and state, unsubscribes and suppression from the old system. Remove duplicates and check the shop association. A purchase or an imported email address does not automatically supply marketing permission.
3. Review the message on a phone
Confirm the subject, sender, product details, price, links and unsubscribe path. Test the layout on a narrow screen. Review AI drafts for factual accuracy and store policy before sending.
4. Send deliberately and watch the response
Start with an engaged, permissioned audience and an appropriate volume. Review failures, opt-outs, clicks and replies before expanding. Set the monthly spending ceiling and assign someone to incoming questions.
